where can i find the nhra rules. i need to know what we have to do to codys truck to be legal for 11.99 and faster.

well were not gonna be doin hardly anything to the motor. just a gear drive timing set and thats probably about it. the majority of work thats gonna be done is suspention, brakes and rearend stuff.

NHRA rule books are available thru Summint racing or NHRA.com for $10

at our old drag strip (the now defunct Carlsbad raceway) 11.99 and quicker would mandate:
a roll bar (not cage)
long wheel studs with open end lug nutz
DOT legal Helmet
approved fire jacket
upgraded seat belts
driveshaft hoop if running slicks
and thats pretty much it.
