i need some proffessional opinions on my idea. it may in fact sound vary idiotic, or it might sound cool, i don't know. so what if i found another 4wd chevy luv, and took all of the frond end (a-arms, differential and all) and put it in the rear of my luv. i am not sure if it would be cool, but it would be different... i have been told that the reason my luv gets such good traction is because of the independent front suspension. it would be a hard swap, but i think it is possible, i would just have to flip the front end to make it reverse rotaion, and either figure out a way to make it rear steer or no steer... just a thought

Think this rotation thing through and I believe you will find it unnecessary to do so. The reverse rotation is already established by the transfer case.
That being said, I would think you could get better articulation with good leaf springs and a solid axle. Just my two cents worth. Good luck

what u could do is find a 2nd gen rx7 and use the rear independent from it. i think track distance is the same. and it would handle so much better than the front suspension in the rear. and i think he is right u wouldn't have to do n e thing to the diff to get the correct rotation. matt
