yea you could say that.. you with a 355 ? how you do milage wise with it? Mine is still race ready for oval track, welded distributor (no advance) holley 650 dub pumper and minute gas is touched its 4 barrels. if I change carb and dist. for street Id do alot better I bet :lol: :lol: :wink:

I still don't exactly know how much gas milage I get. I have only had this truck going for only a couple of days now. I know that its worse than I thought it would be, thats also because my overdrive tranny took a crap and now I am just using a th350. I would guess its about 12 city on the highway is something I don't know yet becuase I haven't even had a chance to take it on it yet.

One would think that the stock trucks would get better than between 20-25. that sucks for being such a small engine truck

Are you kidding??? Not with the way most of us drive :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

J/k Accutaly, considering how old these trucks are and every thing i'd say that 20+ mpg is doing pretty good!! better than just about any new pickup.
