Oh, I was just kidding about the pontiac blue. (I'm a pontiac guy :D) I thought it was just a generic bright blue.

Looks a whole lot better with new paint. I know too I just did mine before I put my engine in. It was all brown yellowish and its Semi Gloss Black now. Spiffy.

Not bad. Where did you get that bumper though? I wish I had a lifted 4wd LUV along with my 2wd soon to be rod!

I think it's a custom do-it-yourself job, looks good!!! wish I had something resembling a bumper on the back of my truck!!!! right now I ain't got nothing back there protecting the body
:?

That air cleaner looks good, but a little out of place without anything else to tie in with it. You could paint the valve cover the same color, maybe a few other things around the engine bay too. (Master cylinder, relay cover on the passenger side fender, whatever else seems to fit)

On my last 4x4 LUV I had no bumper on the rear and I think I prefer it that way for off roading. All the dings in the rear of my current truck have come from the bumper hitting the body, always when coming off a hill or crossing a hole. The departure angle is so much better without the bumper, I just never dragged. I can think of only one case in all my LUV driving years that my rear bumper saved me from anything, and that was me being stupid and backing into a rock.

If I ever get the time I am thinking about building a bumper that will hug the rear of the truck better, something I can put a hitch on that won't stick out and catch stuff. It might help if the mounts were solid enough to keep if from tagging the body too. ;)

That is kinda my idea too, make one or have one made that would hug the rear, and maybe incoperate some 1/4 panel protection, reciever hitch, and a couple of D rings too!
