just wondering how much these luvs will take? i'm running low 10's @ 130mph with stock frame other than being narrowed for the 9". still running the stock leafs minus the big helper leaf. it hooks hard and runs strait. could get it to the high 9's with better air. stock torsion bars. home made traction bars welded to the shock mounts aprox 30' long. i'm not going to try to go any faster , just want to be safe..

well we had peeroys old longbox up to 150 and except the radiator getting pushed into the pulleys it was fine. i was just sitting there saying that the lines on the road looked like dots. and then we ran out of coolant and that was then end of the longbox. :?

well not into the fan, but rather the bottom pully. when found out where it had been leaking from there was a hole the size of half a harmonic balancer wore into the radiator. 8O

Actually I tried 85 today, got to 84 but slowed down cause I was starting to get into some traffic, no cops around, no cars around just a straita' way but I just slowed down cuase i'm not about to try to weave through traffic, I know what it's like to go sideways in my LUV (even with my GF in the truck) and I almost crapped myself

Me and my dad did that too when I first got the truck and I only had my permit, it was just me, him, and me swinging the end of the truck round' corners and doing doghnuts the whole time, about halfway through the mess we realized that not either one of us had our lisence on us

About the going sideways thing, it was an accident, I was going on an on-ramp w/ my GF in the truck and I was looking behind me to see if there was traffic comin', well I looked to long and when I look straight again i'm about to go off the road so I turn it hard to the right and oversteered and turn it back to the left and overcorrected and wound up going sideways for about 5ft., allthis happening at about 50+ mph and the girls parents infront of us, I was scared to drop her off but her dad didn't say a thing. :D
