not gonna miss ya....haha

the 2.8 will be mounted some time this weekend, going a little slower though.

i'm eliminating the a/c and power steering for now on the 2.8, getting it set up to pull from the blazer,

i'm setting up a set of plates to change the bolt pattern on the motor mounts in the luv frame to vertical and be 1 1/4" offset torwards the rear. there's plenty of room for the whole shebang if i install the trans, then the exhaust and then the motor.

i'm having a dilema.....what can i/should i eliminate on the harness? i want the test lead setup, the o2, all the throttle body set up and a check engine light. i would love to get this truck permanetly smoggable.

OOPS....

dropped the a-frame this morning........w the blazer engine and trans hanging at the time, tipped it over when i was pulling the blazer back to set the guts down. trans cooling lines got caught on the a/c lines still in the truck.

broke the oil press sending unit off. nothing i can't easy-out though.

getting a good look at the wiring, it's gonna be a lot easier than i thought to isolate all the ignition, smog and tbi wires.

i'm going to document the wiring job so this won't be as hard for the next guy.
