Dude, I think you may want to get some wider tires. Those just don't look like they will hook.

j/k looks good man! How about some motor pics...

The motor is a stock 350. Pictures are in the project gallery under Karl Ott's 73. I have another motor ready to go in but need to decide a few things first. It is a 355 ci with brodax heads, scatt crank, J&E pistons, carillo rods and a full jessel valve train. It is set at 14 to 1 to run alcohol. The engine was in a one of our sprint cars and the car was destroyed. I need to think about leaving the hillborn injection on or carb it. Also it is a dry sump oil system with a 4 stage pump. This truck is just a toy for the street and in no way is it ment for drag racing.

That is going to be bad ass!!!! I want to do that to mine but will never have the available cash, for quite a while anyway. Also is your truck going to stay that color???? It looks like a really unique color, what is it??? Ps, paint the back of the cab while you have the bed off! That was the thing I hated the most about my truck (esp with the bed tilted  )
Nice work so far!!! 8)

I don't know what color I will paint the truck yet. I am playing with red with wht SS stripes. When I am finished with the frame work, should be about 2 more weeks, I will pull the motor and interior and have it painted. And yes, the bed will be pulled off. The rear end work I am doing is not as expensive as it looks. Keep in mind I am doing all the work myself and being a sprint car crewchief I have alot of connections. The 9 inch with moser axels, trutrack diff, 4.56 gears, shortened and completely ready from drum to drum was about 700.00 dollars. I spent about 650.00 on the ladder bar set up. The rims and tires came off of e-bay for 550.00. If I can help anyone here with info or if you are in So.Cal, let me know and come by and look at it. I also have the S-10 rear end That I took off. It is complete and has rims and tires, springs and shackles. Come get it and its yours.
