I know most of ya'll only own luvs but for those of you that have any idea b/w 81-82 luvs and the 83+ pups heres a question for ya.

I looked up the part no. for some rotors for my truck and the 84' that we just bought, they're different, the part no. for the calipers are different too, BTW these no. were from napa online, so is napa trying to throw some BS at me or was there some sort of overhaul on the brakes on the pups???

Could possibly be the shift to ventilated front discs.

Cant say about over there but we got the switch in 85.
