This is a 60-66 GMC 305 V6 engine.Huge! I plan on using one in a rat rod but it would be cool in a LUV.

had one of those in a 63 chevy truck...... was a great motor and never had trouble with it.

From what little I've read on those old GMC V6s they are a fairly low reving motor. I would think they would be too well suited to being a "hot rod". No personal experience talking here, just what I recall reading about them.

If you want really strange, look for the GMC V12. It is two V6 blocks stuck together, all the other parts duplicated. The distributor is actually two headed. Talk about an odd ball motor.

they have all kinds of info about the GMC v6 and v12.

if you think a 305 v6 is wild, GMC made a 478 cubic inch v6! 8O
