so i got contractors redoing my roof this week (yall remember the 6 damn layers of shingles) we havent got any rain for like 3 weeks. well yesterday we finally got all the old shingles stripped off and some tarpaper down and was gonna start early this morning laying shingles.

well my wife wakes me up at 7am and says its raining.

ah shit. how bad?....bad.

i get up and i find 3 places where the roof is leakin. 2 in the new addition (which aint drywalled yet thank god) and one in the living room where its leakin around the chimney and running down a rafter.

this pisses me off. have a fuckin drought and the miniut i open my roof up its a damn monsoon. wasnt supposed to have ANY chance of rain till late this eveing.

what pisses me off more is if the damn dumpster i rented had been here monday like it was supposed to instead of tuesday this wouldnt have happened. these guys would've been done.

maybe i should sue the dumpster company and get my roof done free ..lol

Ya should.... or at least get a refund for the dumpster rental or something or have them pay for supplies.

Just Luv that Colorado weather huh??? Just remember, it isnt still to early to snow here!! 8O. Hope you dont have to much damage. Back when I painted my blazer in my garage, was nice the whole spring, the LUV had to sit out while I was painting and it rained the whole friggen week. Would hate to be a weatherman here, you are never right. But they did say the whole weekend is suppose to be nice AND DRY. Hope they are right this time.

very true man, they say out here "if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes" yahoo's weather seams to be the best when guessing the weather here. btw, we're soppossed to get rain here sunday in the springs :x
