Hooker mounts, Hooker headers, Aluminum radiator with an electric fan, short water pump, relocate the oilfilter and single groove pulleys. Wire in a GM alternator.
These items will get you a solid, correct platorm to work with. Other stuff will be more of personal preference like the shifter, running the stock 4.56 axle utill it explodes or upgrading to an S-10 or Ford 9" for better gearing / durability. Either way, a new drive shaft will be needed. If you go with an S-10 axle, it's pretty much a direct swap and certian Camaro driveshafts will fit right in. A Ford unit will require a new one built to spec. Dual exhaust is the normal routine but you'll need to decide on the diameter and routing. The emergency brake will need to be moved or eliminated all together if you wont get fined for not having one. I recommend that it be moved to fit between a pair of bucket seats. If the motor is basicly a stock setup, the stock fuel pump will work just fine. If you build something mean, you'll need to go with bigger lines and a better pump.
Read the articles in the info section, It's got some good details of what's needed.
