hey does anybody know the weight of a shortblock 2bolt main 350?? I've got to ship mine to Phoenix from Boise Idaho. getting ready either get another luv for fixing/ parting my '79. or going TBI on the one i have.

tell me about it... when i mothballed it i pulled the teat out of my rv, and set it on the floor boardthen put the seat on top of it it keep it out of sight. it took myself and my cousin and it diddn't even have heads or an intake on it

My crate 350 had a shipping weight if 575 lbs.

575 pounds! Is that with a cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds. That seems pretty heavy.

Yea, I threw the crate away just yesterday and it still had the shipping slip on it, 475 lbs.. Excuse me :oops:

No it was a wood skid with a wood cage built around it. I didn't have to pay the shipping on it so it wasn't something that I worried about. Even when I tore it up b4 the warranty went out they paid for the shipping from me and back to me.
