A fellow gearhead from work has the chance to get a 96 LT-1 aluminum block motor and he's wanting to install it in a 91 S-10. Right off he sees that the stock exhaust manifolds will interfere with the S-10 structure.
Are there any headers made that will fit to this setup? Is there a website that covers a conversion like this?
He's got some work ahead of him with the fuel injection but he's sure about getting that done.

He just moved to a new house and he'll get broadband in a day or two. I'll steer him to that site. He should be blown away with it.

LT1's are just reverse cooled smallblocks. S-10 V8 conversion headers will bolt right on.

He sold the 350 motor he had in the truck. I dont remember the year motor but it had center bolts thru the valve covers. The headers had small primary tubes compaired to the Hooker/LUV SBC headers. He's looking for a set with larger primaries. This may pose a problem because they look like they could interfere with the body and frame.

Hedman Hedders are fenderwell exit. They come in 1 7/8" and 2" primary. I believe hedman also makes chassis exit headers for S10 but dont quote me on that.
