The original one is still in my 79 regal and it shifts great with 100,000 miles on it. 8O

I got the 200R4 and I was wondering if there is any markings on the case to tell the year of it or anything.

200R4 was touted as the "new" PG. a lot of racers use them and say they outperform a glide or Turbo350-400.

I assume they replace damn near every component in it to make it bullet proof though

hmm i wonder how much power a stock tranny can handle? Mine came out of a 86 SS Monte Carlo with a 305 TPI so i am hoping that this one will do the job.
