Sorry, there is no freakin' DSCL LUV... can you not grasp that your truck was customized before you ever saw the truck or owned it??? BTW, how many people were laughin' at you when you walked out of the chevy dealership?

Oh and by the way, use the edit post button whenever you want to add something to what you posted about three minutes ago.

  8O Feelin the luv, You are rotten to the core!!
( And very funny!)

chevyluv79, We are just trying to help you out, so please stop being rude to us. Lighten up man. You asked us to help you figure out what you have , we are trying to tell you our opinions. We are all just fans of the Luv. We are not professionals and just go on what we have all learned over the years. Most of us have never met each other. Some people here are trying to help you. Others are trying to help and making jokes and pulling your leg a little at the same time. I sorry if you disagree with what you have read here, BUt I had never seen a camper shell that was built by GM or Isuzu. It had to be aftermarket, even if the dealer took it some where, had it done and then sold it new on the lot.

Have you ever seen a brand new Chevy pick up on the lot already lowered with a toneu (spelling?) cover and custom wheels? GM/ Chevrolet did not do that. The dealer got it from Chevrolet, took it to a custom shop in thier town had it done and now are selling it fixed up for more money, to some one who wants a custom truck with out having to do it himself. In my opinion, thats what happened to yours back in 79.

Thank you Rondog, that was the point people were trying to get across but he kept asking the same questions over and over so I thought I'd mess with him.

farmer.. I agree... this topic is getting a bit unruly

here is the answer to the original question of the topic. Trim levels were base model, Mikado either 2wd or 4wd. There were appearance packages such as the Sport and Mighty Mike. Top of the line was perhaps a 4x4 Mikado.

chavyluv79... i am sure no one meant anything personal or mean towards you. most folks probably took it as some harmless humor. i agree with finalman that your posts are sometimes difficult to read and that gets some folks a bit annoyed.

everyone needs to just let it go and move on.. let's keep this website the fun and educational place that it is...
