Has anyone run at the champion dragway in white city? The weather is so crappy here im thinking of trailering my nova up there some weekend. Just curious of how good a track it is.

It used to be a pretty nice track back in the day. The guy who had the lease on it finally decided not to renew it ( much to the joy of drag racing fans) The people are improving the track and facilities as they can. I think so far they have new timing equip. lighted return road(i think) and some spectator facilities. From what I understand it's a pretty quick track to run on, but I can't speak from personal experience.
If you do come up drop a line, I'd like to come out maybe have a beer after or something.

I will try and find out a little more about if you like and let you know...

Cool, I noticed it changed names, I can't find anyone around here that has run up there, but since I can have free lodging up there I thought I would look into it. Thanks for any info, and yes if I go up there I plan to have some sort of mini meet. I know of a few nova guys up there too im trying to get in touch with.

my mom lives in Medford..only about 8 miles away. I've been there lots of times and as a spectator, I'd say the track is great but I've never run on it.
