anyone know of fiberglass body parts for the luv's? i have found fenders and a hood. looking for some doors and maybe bed sides? or a fiberglass flip front end. i have a drag truck posted here on the site and would like to loose some more pounds. it's at 2700lbs with a big block running 10.50's.. 100lbs = .10 et

I don't know of anyone making much more than hood and fenders in glass. The doors would shed you a few pounds if you could find them, but they are remarkably light even in stock metal. Do some gutting on them and you'd probably

With fenders and a hood you could fabricate something for the front I would think. There are two cab mounts right at the front edge of the frame, but I'd think without the inner fenders and front clip the two pair mounts under the cab would do to hold up the cab. I'm not a drag racer though so I'll defer to the experts in that department as far as safety and race legal issues go. Dropping the inner fender and cab to core support structure should get you a good chunk of weight drop though.
