:(

Lately my filter warning light and volt warning light have been coming on when my '82 Luv is at idle. They always both light up. They go off when I go down the road. I replace the alternator last year so I do not think that is the problem.

Any suggestions? Bad sensors?

Hmm, seem to remember something about this already from a couple weeks ago. I think it was a ground issue. Try doing a search here on the message boards. Unless someone has an idea...

Does this describe your problem?

After engine is warmed up I say stop for gas or something. When I go to restart the fuel filter and votage light come on and do not go off when the engine starts and idles. When I pull off and bring the rev's up they go off. Other than that everything seems fine.

change your alt. brushes... my dad experienced the same thing on his truck maybe a year ago and all he did was change them and the lights went out.
