Great site; thought I'd join by asking some advice. I've got a 1981 luv 4x4. Stock except it now has 15" wheels and rims. I use this as a secondary truck just for playing in and would love to get it repainted. The only thing that worries me is where I can find original stickers and or decals to put on it. The only other thing I thought would be to have the decals painted on; anyone have any advice on the best options? I'd love to keep the truck as stock looking as possible. I will probably put on more original rims and tires later. Thanks all. This truck has been in the family since 1981 and has 120k miles. Runs and drives great and has never had major engine problems; just regular maintenance.

i would talk to a local decal shot, my dad repainted a xs1100 yamaha and he wanted some custom decals made, so we talked to a local decal shop and he was able to produce some really nice lookin decals for us, they turned out great, so i would just see what a decal shot can do for you

1st-it's decal shop... not shot

2nd, I'd personally say that if you wanna go the cheap route, get macco a try, that's where I got mine done, decent price and warranty, but I've found some bubbles in the paint and some chips so i'm gonna be taking my truck over there some time to get the panels re-sprayed... and it sucks cause the truck get got a good waxin' from me adn now if I get it fixed I can't wax it for 6 months....
