Hi there, met a friend of a friend that owns one of these little trucks, I think it's a 1980 model. The poor guy had his grandson put a long block in it, and the kid couldn't finish it. So far I have worked out all the bugs, and got the thing basically running. Here's the question - is there a bracket that bolts on the side of the bell housing to hold the clutch cable? It looks like there should be, or the cable goes through one of the holes in the block. I am betting there is a bracket that is missing (everything else was).
Also, all the heater hoses were missing, and I had to take my best guess. I ran the hose from the front, to the "T" under the intake manifold. From there to the core, from the core to the valve, and from the valve to the top of th intake, did I guess right?
Thanx for any replies, Kevin Cozzo

my clutch cable runs through a hole in the block to the clutch arm. . and your hose routing sounds like how mine is setup currently.

hey thanx Bob, I thought it probably went through a hole in the block, there is a bolt and nut going thru there now, as someone else tryed putting this thing back together, they probably mistook it for a bolt hole

you can't miss the hole.. it's all by itself on the dog ear of the block.
