I've got a trailer that I was a chevy lug pattern, but now I'm not so sure.

It is 5 on 4-3/8. That means 5 lugs and they are 4 and 3/8ths across the hub from one lug to another at the centers.


Do we have any wheel /tire / lug experts out there??

I want to put new wheels and tires on it and hope to buy some take offs, but I need to know what I have first.


I'm also leaving in the morning for Pensacola Fl. on the big truck, So I will check in when I can But it might be a couple weeks.

It's most likely a 4 1/2" pattern. I've learned the hard way that the correct way to measure a 5 lug pattern is to go from the center of a lug across to the outer edge of an opposing lug. I've never heard of a 4 3/8" lug pattern.

Thank you Blue Meanie. That was very helpfull. I'm not home now but I'm pretty sure I have a Ford Ranger 5 lug pattern, 5 on 4 1/2 like you said. I will check it out when I get back.

that may be a 2wd toyota pickup lug pattern.
