the stepside looks great.. what color ya going with it?? and the $800 truck looks like a good deal.. pretty straight and the front clip looks good

i had some similar rims on a '71 T/A I had.. they were closer to the "minilites" but still looked great.. those CS rims just have the small center caps and you see the lugs, right?

this was Carroll Shelby's answer the the minilites,they are called Shelby Europa he used them on allot of the lotus race cars, and sold them here in the US california stepside used them allot on the trucks the built like this one.

yeah.. i love that style rim.. used to see them a lot on VW squarebacks and those little trucks made from a squareback... has me thinking about something along those lines for one of my project vehicles

well today is the first day of vacation and my son wants to fix his up while he is here so today i'm going to go and get a stepside for him , if I can talk the guy out of if for cheap the hole truck is junk but the bed is good. If we get it ill post some pics.

well the guy said he sold it but its been 3weeks and the guy hasn't come and got it, gave him no cash only $100 for the hole truck, so he wouldn't let us get it even though we had cash and trailer to take it today and at more then he sold it for. he said if the guy doesn't get in a week he will call so we will see??

well we lowered the luv 3 inches in the back and 2.75 in the front he also put a 800watt system in it, can you say BOOM,BOOM.
i i found another stepside we are trying to go look at for $100
oh and he put my luv bucket seats in his and I put the prelude seats in mine.

are the control arms bottomed out on the frame? mine were when my front was about that low.

oh ok, when i put the 3" blocks on the back of my truck i dropped the front of mine more and i had the control arms bottomed out on the frame.. but before i sold it i raised it back up so it rode good :lol: As for keeping on the reg. bed, i just like look of a fleetside bed more than a stepside.
