i dunno if they will, and personally the only reason i would ever put 20's on anything would be so i could mount the old 1 1/2 or 2 ton general 35" tires on my truk (cuz we had em' on a freinds bug and the "general brand" tire kik's some serious a$$)

I really doubt it without some MAJOR modifications to the suspension and fenderwells. If someone can host a pic for me, I can show you what my dads 20's look like in front of my LUV. 8O
(I dont have access to my webpage now that I am not with that provider anymore. )

yeh not my thing either but like on hot rod art, when they draw the huge wheels impossibly tucked... cool to look at on someone elses ride. I still think todays rubber band tires are kinda weird too.

sure you can get a 20 to tuck, and I think it would be damn sweet too. but the issue with going that large in diameter is going to be the width. Most 20's are 8.5-9"wide, way too much for our little trucks unless you alter the frame rail widths. So you'd be into it for customer made billets in a 20x7 with a six lug pattern, totally doable but going to be expensive.

My 17's upper lip just barely tuck when my truck is aired out...

I have 235/75/15's on mine now. That's a 28.5" tire. A 245/35/20 would be only 27" tall and would be less than 1/2" wider than my tire. With the right wheel/tire combination, it could be done. Of course, you couldn't slam it.

I found this old thread...

As you can see, even an 18 looks big on a Luv. I still think 20's could go in the front....somehow :D .............. :chain: .............. :smt035

i think 18 might be the limit in the front without some solid work on it. but that truck looks sweet with the 18/20's on it

They look big, not just because they are, but because the offset is not quite right to get it to tuck, plus they are 8" wide wheels.....which is why he has this offset issue.

The width of the wheel pushes the outer lip out near the edge of the fender flares. It actually fills it out nicely but he couldn't go any lower, obviously, but not because of the rim od, its the rim width and offset that got this guy.
My wheels are 17's with 205/45/17s and they tuck, but the fact of the mater is, they dont look like 17's, rim width, offset, and tire sidewall size all plays the part in the illusion.

20's are totally doable, just gotta make sure they are 20x7, which is going to cost some scratch. Plus you'll probably have to cut the inner fender wells to make room for the wheel/tire to pass through if you bag it.
