well tore luv apart for a new bored block , hyd cam, and gettin heads checked. started blowen oil last year so its all apart. hope to have back on road in or around end of june. :cry:

Looks like you are doing it right. You rebuild, before the engine goes bad. I've got and engine and automatic trans that have an honest 6000 miles on them, and can't sell them. The truck was on an Airforce base and used to haul stuff around the base. And yes, when it was bought from the military the speedodometer was and is still working. It's making way for a V8. I may use it for a generator or something.
