well got the bike running yesterday, left me sittin once b/c the charging system was still assed up but got it fixed this morning and my buddie came out w/ his 650 yamaha and we went for a ride. we put about 60miles on them today, was awesome :D had to stop once at my uncles garage and fix my brake light that decided to stop working. but other than that it was great. bike is running good but i need to make a bracket to keep my center stand off the chain and i got new tires on the way.

just thought id share 8)
:D

the rims i got are matching 5 spoke mags. im putting Cheng Shin Himax tires on...not a real expensive tire but ive heard good things about them.

everyone i showed it off to today was real impressed w/ my "yamasaki" header. it really did come out better than i expected, thanks. its slowly working its way to a streetfighter/ratbike. i think the only chrome left is the chain guard, shocks, handlebars and fork ears

clip-ons are hella easy to do! you did the headers, just shove the forks up an inch or so. Ride it like you stole it!

thanks but I bit the bullet ,not the bike I really wanted to ride so I gave it to someone who will cut me some slack on a future four cyl. I gained four or five square feet of garage space!

I finally got a chance to dig the Honda out of the garage and do a little tinkering with it. :D Took awhile but got it fired up. :o Didn't get a chance to ride though. :(

"ride it like ya stole it" :P

my buddie came out one night and helped me get my KZ running right after i came home from Iraq. bike had sat for a year and i didnt do anything to it before i left. i was also in the process of painting my tailpeice, removing my rear fender, and painting the front fender. so the bike had no lights at all. no mirrors. no front fender or front brake. bald ass tires and it was about 40* and dark.

but it ran and had a seat so it got ridden a short ways
