well painted the engine. and headers, but I didn't get a pic of those. polished the intake manifold and bought a ton of stuff. my friend's dad welded the crossmember this week for me, gonna pick it up this weekend. probably won't get to work on it though, being that both my parents and my boyfriend's dad are remodeling their houses and that MOTHER'S DAY is this WEEKEND in case any of you forgot.

pretty....those aren't the valve covers or intake manifold we're using. Mine are MUCH prettier. :D

here are my valve covers

I saw a neat luv at the good 'ole walmart last weekend, I left a note, but oh well. very pretty flames though.

and for the curious, I did get that tattoo I'd been talking about. Didn't hurt as bad as I'd imagined, although it did hurt, especially over the tendons. Overall, it was more of a strange burning feeling.

outline my wrist is starting to be angry with me...

finished...looks like I was stung by a bee or something

some more taken the next day

who knows. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much about when it'll be done, and instead just to do steady progess. We've got everything we need to finish it, it just needs to get done now. I really don't know. It doesn't help at all that my boyfriend and I are both working and taking summer courses, so we don't have any time for it. :( makes me kinda sad. slow but steady I guess

Looking very nice! :smt023

I have a suggestion for you. Mask off the top and bottom chrome sections of the valve covers and paint the center ribbed section with your Pink color. When it dries, Take some fine steel wool and remove the paint from the top edges of the ribs and the Edelbrock logo to re-expose the polished/chrome finish. Just my 2 cents worth of design ideas.
