my school was just donated a 84 p'up. i think it has the 1.8, has a 4 speed, its 2wd, and it comes with a nice stereo. i was a delivery truck for NAPA. if the teacher can get the title signed over to him, ill buy a bunch of parts for the schools drag car and he'll give me the truck for the price of the parts. so i hope they give him the title. ill gets some pictures of it tommorow.

Looks good, the G200 is a 1.9l.
I had one in the longbed LUV that I used to have.

Glad to hear that you got the truck. You should have fun with it. What do you plan on doing with it.

well i plan to leave it stock. i might lower it a bit and put some black steel rims on it. id like to flat black it with some red rims and chrome centercaps. but for now i need it for a daily driver.

:D That'd be sweet

Use Wide Whites on it too and use then get some of those Von Dutch type pinstripe stickers or stripe it with paint. :smt023

i thought G200 would be the 2.0L(seeing as how G180 is the 1.8L i thought G190 would be the 1.9L ect.). But at anyrate the 1.8L 1.9L and 2.0L are the same blocks just diferent bores.

the G180 is something like 1817cc and the G200 is 1949cc. It is more than 0.1 liter bigger, but it didn't quite hit high enough to round up to 2.0L

The Isuzu 2.0L Turbo from the Impulse is a whole different animal. It is a 4ZC1 with 1994cc, and is built like the 2.3L and 2.6L motors found in Troopers and such. The impulse did use the same 1.9L G200 block found in 83-up PUPs and Troopers in the Impulse for non-turbo, with fuel injection added to it instead of a carb.

Just for amusement purposes:
2.3L = 2254cc (just enuff to round it up)
2.6L = 2559cc (againt just a smidge over the hump)

I think Isuzu learned their lesson on the 1.9L rounding, and vowed never again to miss a size rating by just a single cubic centimeter. I wonder what the G160 you hear about from Aus actually sizes out to?
