The hose that runs from the front side of the head to the underside of the intake. I've called a few of the parts stores and they cant seem to find it.

What should I be asking for and where can I get it?

Thanks in advance.

I run into the same problem. I got mine at NAPA. Sorry I can't rember the tech. name for the hose. I think they called it intermediate heater hose, or foreward hose. I wish I kept the part number.

I believe they call that the bypass hose. According to http://www.rockauto.com the Gates part number is 19644. At least with that sucker you'll know if its right when you first see it. Last time I got one was at a local parts shop that had hoses hanging all over the store. I grabbed it off the hook and said "Need one of these". They insisted on checking the part number to be sure it was right, but with that squiggly thing you know it when you see it. ;)

now that you mentioned it that hose outta' get spongy and go out really quick if you have a fuel leak from your carb or intake, I found that out on the truck with the rod in the block.
