Also need a shifter boot.

Thanks in advance,

You can get a shifter boot from an Isuzu dealership. The other I don't know.

Sounds like shifter boots are a lot like dash boards, everyone needs one. Including me. I guess I'm going to the Isuzu dealer. Wow. There's a sentence I never thought I'd be saying. :D

Hey Noyz. Haven't seen you on here in a while. Or is it just me?

Hey guys,
Thank you for welcoming me to the site.
Possibly some luck on the Dust Boot!
Two weeks ago my friend Joe and I went to "Stick Only" for some tips
on disassembly of his 4X4 trans. When their top service guy walked
out he looked at the trans and said "Isuzu Tropper"
We said"no,Luv Truck" and he said "you still have a love truck?"
WE laughed, but I remembered what he said.
Joe checked an Isuzu Trooper service manual and the
dust boot appears to be the exactly the same!
I am not sure,I have not held one in my hand, but if true
this part is available.
I belive I have a line on shifter boots as well.

A Favor
Could one of you guys,a parts hound, check on the trooper "Dust Boot"?
I swear the chances are real good that they are the same.
I think over half of the Luv owners around today need one.

Thank's,
chips

Yeah, I could use one too for the 2wd. I have it all taped with electrical tape. The truck has been doing a lot of sitting since I need some work done to it, and it sat in a barn for like 7 years, so where it was ripped the mice were getting into the cab that way. Not anymore ! Little bastards.
Anyone have any good tips for keeping them away ?

lol, I have a trap set in truck, but ever since I taped up the boot I have not had any trouble, but it has been Winter too, so we will see if they get back in or not. I think I solved it with the electrical tape. It looks crappy, but it works for now.

I do remember once being called by a close friend to come up to his house and bring a samurai sword.
It seemed a reasonable request,(you don't know my friends),so off I went.
The problem.....a Mouse. While remodling the kitchen a mouse gained entry
to food heaven.

* How Not To Get A Mouse *

Two men in a small under construction kitchen swinging samurai swords
in all directions, and at the same Mouse.
This mouse appeared to have nitros, often all you could see was a streak
of color. At one point I managed to sink my sword into a 2x4 and had to put my feet against it to work it free.I had to keep my head down because my
friend was going hog-wild with his sword and I did not want a
"Tombstone Haircut"
Lesson one:One man with a samurai sword in the kitchen at a time.
Lesson two:Mice are "Very Fast" always "Swing Ahead" and follow thru.
Lesson Three:Do not resort to firearms! The neighbors call the Police!

Swing Ahead & Follow Thru,

Coke, or any soda that has carbonated water. They can't pass gas. Boom goes the mouse. 8O

lmao @ the samurai sword story ! :D Not sure if I would want to use soda. Don't want them dying in the house or truck, already had those experiences last year using D-Con. They stink bad after they start to rot. Fizz doesn't last too long on soda anyway. So far my most successful methods have been trapping the little pricks !

I just called my local Isuzu dealer and asked for a shift fork boot for an 86 Trooper 2.3l 5-spd and they have them for $13.52.

Unfortunately for the reset of you, I know this fits the 5-spd I'm putting INTO my truck, but I don't know if it will fit a 4-spd.
