Hey guys and gals

I just replaced my head gasket put a rebuilt head on, started my truck and the carb pops all the time and jerks the truck when it happens its a 79 4 wheel drive with the hatichi carb not the weber, I checked all the vac lines and couldent find anything wrong there how ever I noticed when adjusting the nixture screw on the carb you can have it all the in and not change in the enginge and you can adjust it outward and not change, this is a reman carb , but I did not have this problem prior to doing the head gasket, any help would great on this thanks
