What I was told when I had a top chopped Luv(was already done when I bought it) was that a glass shop can order one already cut. It has to be cut before its tempered or it will just crack and splinter like mine was. I was also told by a builder that he will order 5-10 windsheilds for a specific car and cut them himself until he gets one right. I never pursued either one so I dont know how true either is.

My truckin mag has an article on this. basically u cut the glass then tap it so it breaks along the cut line then torch the break to melt the plastic in between the glass and that’s all to it , the short version. if I get a scanner ill post all the mods that pertain to the luv from the mags

Damn thats right. I forgot that I saw that on OverHaulin one night. They scored the glass with a tile cutter, heated it and tapped it. ctmandu, can you post that somehow? Maybe Ben would put it in the tech section.
