what is the proper name for the doughnut gasket the gasket between the manifold and the actual exhaust pipe? i need to know to search for it on autozone.com and the other ones. wo can you guys tell me thanks in advance.

I think the proper name is 'exhaust flange gasket'.

Yep! Exhaust Flange Donut.

If they are experienced there, they should know what "Exhaust Donut" means.

Ahhh! I am with 800XL on going to RockAuto.com. Their database is great and is categorized so you can go through it step by step.

I recently went to a NAPA store and ask the guy behind the counter if he had an upper ball joint for a Luv truck, and he said, what in the hell is a Luv truck!! He was serious! There was a girl working there too that had to tell him what a Luv truck was!!

But he was only 21 or 22 years old, so i can see how it was possible that he never heard of a Luv truck.
