 Post subject: what truck bodies

what other truck bodies can i drop my 1.9 isuzu into i would really just like to know the chevrolet ones but all will work and anyone know wher i can get one i need a new body for my 1977. it's still for sale but if i can get another body i'll be just fine and i'll keep it.

the whole truck i pretty much just want to drop my engine and tranny into another body without much modification.

i think some s10s came with athe isuzu 1.9. you could also trya bunch of mini trucks.

Well....

Take a look at some Izusu Troopers (pre 90's models) some of them have the 1.9 in them that can go in.

And some of the s-10's (82-84) have a similar bolt pattern.

Toyota's w/ the 22R engine seems to have the same bolt pattern, but may need some mods.

And there are a few others that can be found searching for em.

my question would be WHY? for the amount of fabrication you'd have to do, you could easily put something better in.

didn't '82-84 or 85 s10s have the 1.9 as an option?
