I have a 80' 4x4 and wanna stuff a v6 in it. is there one that will bolt up to the stock tranny? and what else would i have to do?

maybe 800xl will have better info. on this but if any of the 4x4 troopers or rodeos had the same tranny (just different ratios more-n-likely) then that may bolt in... but like said 800xl should have better info.
