Kind of sounds like here, yesterday, I was suppose to go to Colorado Spring with my job (60 miles away), it was nice when I went to work, had to stop at a job sight on the way, it started getting cloudy when we left, soon as we got to the site, it started blowing snow pretty hard, left to go to the Springs and the snow was piling on the road and a car a 1/2 mile ahead of us slid into the car in front of them, we turned around 10 miles out of Denver as we would be getting to the springs to late for why we needed to be there, went to lunch, the snow stopped and the skies cleared up. Going home from work you couldnt even tell it snowed. Monster blizzard in a 2 hour span??? I would swear armegeddon is coming with all this wacky weather the last year or so!!
