welp of all things this takes the cake... ya'll know that kid that took my truck and was gonna make payments on right... well he says that the motor started ''ticking'' like it was a little on oil, so he put 2 xtra quarts in it and it was barely over the second dot on the stick... and then he's goin down the road and says he wasn't doggin' the truck or anything (yeah right....
) and was shifting from 3rd to 4th and BOOM!!! somthing in the motor blows, so he pulls over and takes a look and sure enough... the moron slung a rod through the block
i should nevr of sold that thing to him and now he wants to give it back... (without making a single payment of the $600 he owes) I'll keep ya'll informed about what my dad desides to do with it, part it out, make the kid pay for the truck and make him keep it, or buy another truck w/ a low-mile motor for $100 and swap the motors and re-sell the truck... like i said the kid was still learning about motors and probably thought you can keep in 1st gear in 30 or 40mph (like he probably could in his 5L FORD/DORF) he didn't even ask where he should shift... ohy
