let us know how the install with the harness goes. What kind of problems you had and solutions... that sort of thing.
Truck looks very good!

I thought it'd make better sense to drop the engine in 1st. (so I did!!)
Then, wire around it.

Well, Turns out I did NOT, like the 14 circuit micro mount harness!! It did not have provisions for electric fan, fuel pump, radio, etc.. Plus the fuse box itself just looked cheap! But, I thought no big deal I'll just tap into the fuse box for them. Painless told me, "if you do that, it will void the warranty"!! So, I sent it to Summitracing & swapped it for an 18 circuit universal harness.
I HOPE to have it by Saturday.........so I can start on gettin it wired up!!

Btw: A GM headlight switch, thru Summit, with a Painless part #....$47.88
Same GM headlight switch, thru Advance auto.......$10.99

I've already got questions, & issues I'm trying to figure out.

You can go to Summitracing.com, click on Brand....type in Painless wiring, scroll down to the harness application that you choose....click on the adobe icon, & boom......you can view the directions on-line. Providing you have adobe acrobat reader.
Thought someone might find that usefull.....in case they were thinkin about ordering a harness. At least you have an idea of whats in store.

8O 8O Uh-ok.........does that mean you like it...or not?

I like it alot better than I originally thought I would. I wanted a cowl ind. hood, But, a friend of mine has a Bunch of these hoods he's selling. He told me he could fix me one up, for the Luv.......I said, well, ok.
The hood ........(the black part of the hood) is a, well, was a....(gulp) Honda Civic hood. It was a stamped steel piece. The skin will be welded, & 'glassed to the original Luv hood!

It gives me the clearance I needed for my breather. Plus, it's a one-of-a-kind!! Kinda doubt I'll ever see another Luv with this kind of hood. Which, I like even better.
