Hey, I was just wondering if I could get some of your time lengths that you let them luvs warm up when its cold and when its hot. It seems like if I dont give my truck just the right amount of time, it wont drive worth a crap. Thanks

well i let my diesel luv warm up for bout 20-30 mins. int he colder morns. like 30-50 degrees, or untill it idles down then i let it warm up just a bit longer...

Running like crap also happens when too much fuel is in your tank, fuel's not warm, tranny isn't warm, and/or if you don't let your motor warm up properly.

Warm up, hell who has time, j/k I let mine run for about 5 to 10 minutes before I go any where. Just long enough to get the oil pumpin good, and to let the motor warrm up a bit.

I go about 30 seconds to 1 min. I just drive out the "hood" kind of easy. I don't stomp on it or jump on the freeway until the gauge is coming up.
That's the same with all my vehicles.
Of course I'm in L.A. where it's not as cold as it is for some of you.

bare minimum of 15 minuits. i have been planning to install an external electric oil pump to build oil pressure before i start the engine and that should cut it down to five.
