I hurt my back last week by helping lift my buddies tool box ( the big kind that cost $4000) out of his pick up, then when I though it was better, I drove down to Madesto CA in a lifted powerstroke with bad shocks and 35s. So now I have pinced a nerv and possibly messen up one of my discs..........so I decided to take 3 vikoden this morning............oh babay I feel high as a friggen kite......goto love those pain killers ( at least till they waer off)


I know this is a stupid and pointless topic...but hey, I'm stuck in my bed for a few days and am so bored I'm going nuts.

Consider yourself lucky. I've found out I'm allergic to just about every kind of pain pill I've tried accept IB Profin. Had a couple wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and took some pills and been pukin' since. . .btw, puking after you've had wisdom teeth pulled sux real bad.

I was prescribed vicoden last winter for some type of strep throat. I loved that stuff. Somebody couldve ripped my tonsils out and I wouldve given a rats butt.

Ahhh yes Vicodin, I love that stuff, some one could shoot me and I wouldn't have cared in the least bit. Morphin has somewhat of the same effect but vicodin works better in my opinion. great stuff especially after you've had a double by pass

vicodin didn't do squat for me, except put me to sleep. I had morphine once for kidney stones, I felt soooo nice. I even played in an alumni football game a couple hours later. Had surgery to remove the stone two days later...

I had some oxycodone once. That shhhtuff was great! That was when I had my wisdom teeth pulled, man....good times...

i had a kidney stone for about a year. WARNING ! if you take that stuff long enough it will make your dick go limp, NO JOKE. by the time i passed my stone i was highly addicted. at the time i was personally scared the problem was me, until my buddy started to take them (we popped pills alot). the same thing started happening to him. a couple months after i stopped taking them i saw on the news that they just found out it causes impotenance. BEWARE, i'm dead serious. i won't even touch that stuff anymore. i've had my dentist try to give me that stuff twice since the and i made him write me another thing for codine i believe it was. vicodine is good with 2 pills and them smoke a joint. you'll be in the clouds

I'm actually taking Hydrocone wich my doctor told me was a vikoden substitue, and has less of the side affects......and I found out it was a Hurniated disc, cool part is my spine is like curved (I say cool but it scares me). I get to lay around the house and play hao2 and Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball for like3 weeks (those are the only games I have)...........I can never get tired Of Halo2 it is as addicting as playing with nitrous oxide........fun stuff

I have had the same experience as diarmadhim with vicodin. It just put me to sleep and that was pretty much it. I have had some Tylenol 3 (aka ACC, Acetomenphine/Caffine/Codine) and that stuff works sorta ok for me. Pain doesn't go really away, but I just care less about it. Most of the time I just skip pain prescriptions anyway. They don't work well for me, and I get cranky when my senses are dulled. I've had teeth pulled and just got by with a couple of Asprins every couple days.
