Welcome to the site, and yes it is possible to put a v8 in your truck. Take a moment to look at some of the pics in the picture gallery.

ok i'm sorry i knew it was possible but from the people that have been telling me about it have said i would have to do allot of welding and cutting. i have a trany and a rear end waiting for me to, but i'm looking for a 327 to put in it without all that trouble ..

well I just finished putting in a 400 into my luv, and yes your info is true. there is some welding and cutting involved, but not a ton of it. You can order all the mounts [motor and tranny] you need. Good luck

yeah welcome to the site!

and just for your information all small block chevrolets are the same outside dimensions. example a 289, 327, 350, 400 are all the same sizes, so they will all fit in the luv with the same mounts. So you don't necessarily need to have a 327.
Go to the information page http://www.luvtruck.com/Information.htm and read up on how to do the swap. that should help. Get someone who knows about engines, or mechanical things to help you out, so you can learn, or take autoshop in school.

If you have ANY questions feel free to ask on this site and the peeps here will be happy to help.
