I went online and got three ignition coil part numbers. Anyone have the right part numbers?

What other ignition coils work? And does someone have one I could have until the end of the month?

i have two extra coils for the electronic ignition that you could have if you've made the conversion.

I could send you the stock one I got, but shipping would probably be as much as gettin one from the bone yard. Let me know.

Hit the boneyard and they dumped everything -79, so the only thing out there was an 81 LUV. I got some parts off it, but nothing amazingly changes that she still don't start. The only thing that I can think of is

Hey - Where the hell does that green wire go? There is a dangling green wire there.

good thing we didn't sell our truck to you... it's got the same problem( if it's the thing that sits on top of the coil then that's what i'm talking about)... i've been everywhere with that kid and no one knows what the thing is... so what's this "magical" conversion ya'll are talkin about, maybe i can spread the news to him eh?

If you have my version of luv (see my avatar) then it don't use the coil.

If you have your version of the truck (see your avatar), then it uses the coil. I will see if I can rustle one up.

You can always check some of them boneyards on 95 8-)

actually yes 1 is... and it has most of it's parts (shifter and rear-end)
hmmm... well i don't really know street names in that little town (even though i used to live there) but i can give you land marks.

If your looking straight at the lowes food's store if you go down the road (going away from the intersection) say 200 ft or something, go down that road and there will be a little building ask the guy if he still has the automatic pup back there, if yes proceed to step 35

35. if you go down into the actuall junkyard past the van that's on your left full of headlights (i think windsheilds too) go straight ahead and there's a red truck, that's 1 of 4 pup's back there, (they are all 86's) but i think that's the one with the auto-rear, if not there's a couple next to some mitsu's near it and one more which is white and black, those are your options...
