Um......there isnt such thing as a 1985 Chevy Luv, american production was stopped in 1982 to make way for the S10.

From the looks of it, it is a 1978 - 1980 model.

Check under the floor mats, rocker panels and under the cab for rust. These are very prone spots for rusting. Check out things like clutch condition, 'sloppy' movement of gear shift, ease of transfer case shifting, engine oil colour and smell, tire condition, tread wear accross the whole width should be even on front tires. Things like this can give you a pretty good idea on how the truck was tooken care of.

Also it looks as if it has been lifted a bit, so be sure to check out that system the guy used, if it was hacked together or what not. Looks like a good 4x4ing truck if you ask me.

ya it has a lift, looked good, motor, trans rean great, 4wd works fine, now the problems, the muffler is demolished and needs to be replaced, no dash lights, steering collum is very loose, move the heater controls and the engine dies, other then that its good.

im not going to buy it because of these problems, i want a runner, not a project.

kinda sounded like a vacuum problem, but it's a good idea that you didn't buy it...
