I'm going to be purchasing a truck soon, and what I'd really like is something the size of an S-10 that's diesel. I've done some searching, but closest I could find were some 83-85 S-10 Blazers. Which is not what I was looking for. I was wondering if anyone could help me find some information on this, and also what it would take to take a non-diesel S-10 type truck and convert it to diesel. (besides time, money and skills)

swap motors, but you've got to re design the motor mounts, new fuel tank and lines, i think some re-wiring will have to happen, new exhaust, and a bracket for the water seporator.

OR you could just look for a luv with a diesel already in it. like i did, i've got a 1.8l gas, and a 2.2l diesel
