Well I can understand your dads point of view. My niece was almost killed 3 weeks ago in northern Ca. when her boyfriend was doing over 100 mph in her Honda. Luckily they were down to about 45 when they lost control into a tree.
So , at the expense of sounding like an old fart. . ..I can understand your dad.
A Luv is not a Vette. and you made it so it can go as fast as one. Now thats all fine a dandy I wish I could V8 mine but it has to stay smog legal for a couple more years. But you have to remember what your driving at all times. You are driving a mini truck that does not have brakes or handling for the kind of speed it can do. the extra wight in the front changes a lot also.
They are all kinds of fun and haul ass, But please use good judgement when you get on it. Remember that corner coming up or deer jumping out or what ever. Luvs don't have the technology of cars today when the crash. Luvs just wad up into a ball with you inside. So have fun and be careful.
But most of all, enjoy that fine ride. 8) 8)
