i had a semi auto 12 gau when i lived in oregon about 5 yrs ago. i went through abogut $600 in ammo the first month i owned it. i sold it after two months........first as a carpenter i already have carpal tunnel ........second,it was way too fun and would've eventualy got me in trouble.
when you're firing 12 gau rounds the kick adds up if you don't get that pause in between shots, screwing up your accuracy and possibly damaging the ligaments in your wrist and elbow, a 12 gau mag with 00 shot throws a good 3/8 oz of steel shot at 1330 fps, do that 4-6 per second and that's alot of shock.
i don't thing anybody trained (self of profesional)in the use of a shotty would need this thing for anything they couldn't do with a pump....exept supression fire.......or getting your rocks off
