I visited my local Pik N pull yesterday and they got a new Luv truck in. It is a 72 and it is pretty complete except someone already had grabbed the windshield from it . The thing about it is someone painted the whole truck white....with a brush I mean the WHOLE truck. Even the engine compartment. Sad thing.

When I replaced my bed on my Luv, somoene had used house paint to paint the bed. I also sanded it down and there were like 2 other colors, ones was a really funky green. House paint I have no idea, what they were thinking, primer is really cheap way to go and looks better.

Yep, I got all excited when I first saw it cause it seems pretty straight but after examining it, I decided that it's too risky. Who knows how much rust, bondo etc. is under that thick brushed on paint.
