I'll be on the hunt for parts and i'll have e-mail and net access where i'm going.

i need a new block for a stock truck, i'm trying to get the snow truck project rolling this month.

Here's the deal.....DON'T DRIVE AN "OLD PIECE OF $#!T" TRUCK ANYWHERE NEAR KLAMATH FALLS ,OREGON.

I't saturday morning and i have to go get my truck back from the tow/wrecker i checked out yesterday morning for parts cause the police around here think this is L.A.......they inpounded it for a saftey inspection,after i had a headlight go out right in front of him and his three other buddies with there two other cop cars......

they tore my carpet and speakers out "inventoring" my belongings. I started to object to the search so they handcuffed me and my buddie i came to visit


all for a headlight?

Absolutly file a complaint. I'd write a letter to the editor of the local paper as well. "Thanks for the Welcome to K-Falls a--holes, next time I feel like spending my tourist dollars it will be somewhere else"

They have to be thinking you were involved with drugs or something. Could be someplace you stopped is being monitored, and your out of state plates just made them salivate thinking you were running meth or something. Still uncalled for, but at least that would be an explanation. At the very least they owe you an explanation.

I'd try to file for harrassment (for being singled out, cause of being an out of towner) &, uncalled for search (since they didn't find anything), & for personal property damage:!:
Sounds to me like that one cop was showin out for his buddies.

I'm home again ....finaly .......the truck ran great on the trip...there was a bit of a headwind on the way up and it took three tanks of gas. took two tanks to get home... ran great....the cam i got is perfect for the freeway, even up the mountain passes on highway 97.....

didn't score any parts.... found a guy with a luv drag truck...350 sbc...75 with an extended frame and body doesn't have much of it's steel left under the body panels.....guy said it ran in the low 9's........ told him about the club here....so we might get a new member.

if you objected to them searching and tearing up ypour truck they were in violation of your constitutinal rights. That is a perfect example opf unlawfull search and seizure. Dont stop untill he pays.
