i decided when i turn 34 this year i would start counting backwards every year from now on. but then i looked in the mirrior and saw all those natural highlights coming in, " gray hair for you 17 year olds that dont know" any ways i quickly figured out i won`t be pulling that off . unless i dye it .oh well now im depressed i guess i`ll go spend some money on the truck. later

Man you guys are all so young. Makes me feel old. I am 47. Money was always in short supply, while my kid was growing up. No money to spare for a hot rod, you know. Finally I got the chance, and chose the luv, because without a lot of money you could make an excellent hot rod. hopefully there are a few other older members out there also.

Im 55 so looks like I win. Had one of the first kit installed smc luv truck. Traded editor of Popular Hot Rod magizine a motorcycle and some cash. It was fun but didnt hold up. Had to put bigger radaitor, motor mounts, exhuast, rear end and engine and tranny. In general rebuilt the thing right.

I'm right in the middle of the pack, but how old were you when you got your LUV's??? I was 15 when I got mine (and I paid for it myself!!)!!!
