That thing is crazy! I wonder how fast that thing is. That engine in there is probably not enough to move the when it was stock. :P

Funny this post has came back up...I tried to buy that car. It's in Canada and the guy wasn't willing to meet me on the U.S. side w it. Have since lost all interest in yugo's. Sold my red one, stripped an crushed my white one.Have bigger and better projects now like Mercedes Benz 450 SEL......but did have fun w those lil cars. :D 8)

OK I know I'm gonna regret this but I have to ask....Why would anyone do that to a Yugo? Those poor cars don't have enough power to get out of their own way. So why put an already underpowered engine through that much hell?

For starters.......they came outta the factory w a WEBER carb :!:
NO problems at crusing 85-90 mph cross country all day long in one, while getting anywhere from 48 to 54 mpg.Every Yugo Ive had did ALL of the 120 mph on the speedo.
If NOBODY else sticks up for these than dammit....I will. LOL

I say don't knock it till you've tried it.Just my 2 cents.

I'm gonna have to back you up on that one. My aunt has a yugo, and the thing has some pep to it. Sad to say its one of the only ones i've ever seen. Kind of a dumb question, but where were these things made? Yugoslavia? :?

Right on!! somebody is w me on this after all.
Yes, yugoslavia is where the Yugo's were made.they were made until 2000, but in same warehouse weapons were also being manufactured and the U.S. bombed that plant....hence, the demise of the Lil Yugo automobile forever :( *excuse me i need to go dry my eyes now* :(

That Yu-go no-go...
Just like the mistake chev. made by selling nova's in Brazil... Navo means no-go in portugese... not a single one sold...

Did I hear you right, Lil Blue? You actually have some of these rare gems? Got a complete one for a crazy lunatic like me? I'd like to have one just for the humor! I already get heckled because my LUV looks like it went through a war zone! A Yugo would just make it that much better!!!

That's a bummer! I want the apitomy of cars to do a car to make fun of the ricers with! I believe the Yugo is the perfect candidate for that! This area is so over-congested with little Honda's and the like with fart-cans and big air filter tubes on them it's pathetic!! My Maxima still stomps them off the stop light!! And it's bone-stock!!!! LOL! Anyways, thanks anyway there Lil Blue! Just wishful thinking I suppose!
