So last weekend i was back in Spokane and met up whith Dave (77SSLUV). He was a member on here a while ago (he decided to leave becouse no-one got his off beat sense of humor). But anyway, hes selling his truck so i whent to check it out. It was sweet, after we got it to fire up he took me out for a romp around the block in it. I must say i have never been so pumped to get a V-8 LUV. He is selling it on E-bay as well, sorry i dont have a link for you but its the bright yellow 77 in the gallery here under Dave H.

hey i think i seen a stepside on market street just down the road from the muffler shop and the glass shop. is that where you looked at it??? if so then ya ive seen that and its pretty impresive.

yeah it might have been the one dr. And daddy wabbit, the Elderbroks are good carbs, i prefer Hollys on my performance builds but Edlebroks are easier to tune for alot of people. So please at least present some facts about stuff before you just through insutsl peoples way.

eld carbs suck and so do you.don't tell me about carbs,motors and shit,i've raced and forgotten more about crap then you'll ever know,most of you guys don't have any earthy idea about power,you think,put a v/8 and a ford rear and you've got a monster,get real.......sure they are nice rides....but fast,.not in a million years......that yellow truck was def worth what he was asking,but yea an eld carb,can't flow for shit,you can't go fast with an eld carb ..look around!........decent street carb but performance =throw in trash can!

I must say dw you have a flair for getting people riled up :lol:

While I don't for a second think my truck will set any records, but fun...yes
Fast? Fast enough to shuck the ricers and wannabe's around here.
Could I put the effort and $$ into making a "Fast" truck? Sure, but no thanks.
Don't get me wrong I don't have that skill presently and dont pretend to.
Just the expense of maintaining a beast like that kills it for me. Then fuel costs...no way.
Fast is a relative term too, the earth rotates at what...@1000mph travels around the sun at about 67,000mph. and it doesn't even have a carb.
